La Scala - An Elegant Evening of opera and Classical Song

Project Applause in association with The Church of the Oaks presents: At Sunset

A delightful evening of duets celebrating the beauty of autumn.

A Song for Summer. An elegant gala concert featuring internationally recognized countertenor Christopher Fritzsche, acclaimed soprano Susan Witt-Butler

Una Canzone alla Foresta (A Song to the Forest). This elegant, educational multi-lingual concert event featured the timeless operatic literature and classical European art song of the greatest composers of the tradition -- Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Schubert, Brahms and others.

A Song for Summer. A vocal concert to support the good works of the ladies of the Petaluma Women's Club.

Le Printemps à Paris (Springtime in Paris) As part of our Saturday Afternoon International Tea and Song Series, the vocal performers of Project Applause gave an intimate concert of French mélodie and aria.

 

'Il vitto di vita" Italian dinner concert/fundraiser on May 3rd at the Glaser Center was a smashing success.

Student Aid

Our first "Student Aid" event, in June 2005, was a benefit for Face to Face, raising over $2600 and creating a performance venue for the vocalists of Project Applause to perform for over 170 people.

 

La Bonne Chanson

La Bonne Chanson was a French Dinner Concert at Fife's Guestranch. The event completely sold out and our student performers got to play before a FULL HOUSE! The concert was preceeded by a brief lecture on the history of French Art Song and Aria.

 

Music of the Heart!

Poduced in conjunction with the nice folks at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, this concert raised money for "The Savannah Hill Scholarship Fund" of Community Foundation Sonoma County

 

Bel Canto!

Our "Bel Canto" concert was another huge success where our performers played to a full house!

 

Il Nastro Rosa

"Il nastro rosa" (The Pink Ribbon) benefited the Cancer Wellness Program at the Airport Health Club in Santa Rosa.

 

Student Aid II

We were thrilled that Face to Face invited us back to produce another elegant fundraiser for them.

 

 

We are a non-profit, educational organization. There is no charge to the performers. Performers are not paid for singing.
